Unkown Empidonax flycatcher. Any thoughts on its ID would be appreciated. It did not call or sing as I observed it.
Maybe a Western Wood Pewee…no eye ring and a really light belly/breast.
That didn’t occur to me. They are usually persistently calling and this bird made no sound.
