They are both labrador retrievers. Sky came from a ‘backyard breeder’ and Molly came from a professional breeder who specializes in colorful yellow labs that also point – red pointing labs. I didn’t even know that was a thing til our friends started talking about getting a pointing lab. There can be a lot of size variance in labs – I’ve seen them as small as 40 pounds and over 100 pounds. Molly has very long legs and a big head compared to Sky. Sky is about 63 pounds and Molly is generally around 70.

Is Red Molly a different breed than Sky? Her head shape is so different.

Oh and they are both field style or American style labs. For a really different animal, look at English style labs.
