Most of the ruins I saw were on south facing slopes and I imagine they were used seasonally. I wonder what they used for cushions. In a museum I saw an ancient blanket made of turkey feathers! It said they domesticated wild turkeys and used the meat and feathers extensively.

Can you imagine living there? These images are grand, but being there with all of the senses engaged would be so special.
