Those aren’t Tussock Moths in the last photo are they? I thought the spraying a few years ago took care of them–at least for a while. Sorry to post such a practical comment in re: such beautiful photos, but I live in fear of the Mothra.
We live where the bitterbrush and ponderosa pine communities come together so I don’t think they are tussock moth. The caterpillers were in a bitterbrush shrub.
