I used to live across the bay, just south of Oakland. One thing I did fairly often was to walk across the G G Bridge…nothing like it! Great views, lots of interesting things swimming below the surface of the water…watched a gull floating on the surface almost devoured by a BIG sunfish came up from below. Only miss a few things in California.
It’s easy to appreciate how California was such a paradise of a place when Europeans first reached it. Of course, now it’s drawn so many people and feels over populated.
