Groundsel is about the same color as balsamroot and has replaced it on our hillside, keeping the yellow theme for a little while longer
I wonder what is behind all the yellow from wildflowers to pest plants…so much yellow; dandelions, balsamroot, groundsel, poppies, Scotch Broom, gorse….
Yes, what is it about yellow? I wonder if it attracts pollinators better than other colors?
