It was a perfect sunny day with bluebird blue skies on the Methow Trails yesterday. The groomed trails are in good shape despite a lower than wished for snowpack. I’m glad we got out because today it is pea soup foggy conditions! A good day to stay inside.

Gorgeous! It was my 74th birthday yesterday (13th) and we had the same sky and sunshine here at the beach. So I drove out and sat in my car for a couple of hours, watching the waves, the birds (mostly gulls and sanderlings), and reading my latest book, Mozart’s Starling, by Lyanda Lynn Haupt.
