I want to say it’s a Smelowskia. I love a good plant puzzle!
That’s a new name for me.
Taking my cue from the reply below, I looked it up and I love what Dave’s Garden says about it…”You tell us.” Apparently not much is known about it’s needs. https://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/94786/
I can’t imagine that something that grows at 8000′ would do well in a home garden. But what do I know? 🙂
