One afternoon we drove over to the Quinault Rainforest. We were lucky to have good weather – it wasn’t raining.

We dug for Razor Clams three nights in a row and got our limit each time. Lucky for us, our friends Gary and Karlene in Ocean Shores took the time to coach us on digging, catching, and most importantly cleaning these tasty clams. And they loaned us lots of equipment to make it all so much easier. Many thanks.
The winter low tides happen at night so this is an adventure in the darkness on the beach.
