With fall migration in full swing, interesting birds might show up at anytime.
Here a group of Wester Bluebirds arrived to take advantage of the bird bath and perches in our backyard.

A Peregrine Falcon scouted the situation from the lower snag before heading off for points unknown.

And a Yellow-rumped Warbler hawked a few bugs before moving on.

Ken took our friend Cheryl fly fishing to a small creek in the Methow with the promise that she would catch her first fish on a fly rod and indeed she did. And she caught her second, third, fourth, and quite a few more, it seemed! Lots of little Brookies and Cutthroats. What fun. I enjoyed the scenery and assisted as needed.
