Gary Chittham on the Ch 5 news last night (Friday) did a piece on the lack of browse for the deer due to the fires…so they will have to cull the herds (more allowed for the hunting season) plus feed them. He said they are already eating in the local fields…and the bulk of the deer haven’t come down from the mountains yet…it’s going to be bad.
Oh yes, our friend Scott was on the excursion with channel 5. Too many deer and most of their winter range burned.
